Gifted with the power to tell tall-tales anyone will believe, Tony vowed to use his powers for good. With over 10 years experience across commercial, documentary & narrative, Tony’s work has made people’s eyes well and their cheeks ache, redefined brands, championed NGOs, even brought a shift at the polls.
Tony’s approach blends bold and unexpected concepts, technically sophisticated film language and his trademark snappy dialogue, creating stories that surprise and delight.
With a deep love for comedy and satire, Tony works best with brands and creatives that like to take risks, be bold and try new things. His wide gamut of experience in commercial work from writing, directing, and producing his own projects gives him a holistic understanding of the production process.
Tony currently works at Stranger Films, but is available for freelance work.

Directed a mock TVC for Youngbloods for their entry on Gruen's The Pitch. I've tied for the win twice now, but that still counts.

Screen Queensland - SQ Shorts Funding
Was selected by Screen Queensland to have a pilot financed through their SQ Shorts program. Worked with industry mentors to develop and create the pilot and series outline to pitch to broadcasters.

AFTRS: Narrative Comedy Fundamentals
Worked with Australian comedy veteran Tim Ferguson in a 2 day online workshop designed for screenwriters to expand their skills in writing comedy for film & television.

Screen Queensland - Nice Shorts Initiative
Was selected as a director to work with Bunya Entertainment in their online series 'Nice Shorts', funded by Screen Australia. Worked with comedy legends Nick Boshier & Jazz Twemlow.

Tony's short film 'The Bus Knight' was selected for development & production financing, working with industry mentor Stephen Irwin.

Worked with dramaturge Nadia Townsend in a 2 day intensive workshop to develop directing skills and understand the acting process.
